Breathing is the basis for the existence of life in our world. In ancient medicine, breathing is not only related to oxygen but also to the spirit according to Judaism, to pneuma, prana, chi or ki, names synonymous with the energy of life. But which organs and systems are responsible for the breathing process and how is proper breathing performed? What is proper breathing? What emotional centers may be activated if we breathe incorrectly and what is the connection between breathing and stress, anxiety and fear. In this lecture, we will move from the Himalayas and Tibetan breathing techniques, to the Wild West and a tour taken in 1860 among Indian tribes of the Midwest of the United States, reviewing various breathing techniques and their purpose. We will learn about the importance of the nasal mucosa, nasal convolution therapy and the involvement of nasal tissue in what is happening in the health.... We will learn various breathing approaches, including the Butenco method, the To-Ma technique, the Wimhoff method and various techniques from the Pranayama tradition, the breathing of long life knowledge that came from India. Together we will reach a more complete view of the breathing process, we will study it according to the Three Sources method and learn various breathing techniques that can be applied in everyday life in order to bring about perfect balance.
